Review: TEEN TITANS: TROUBLE IN TOKYO
Before I start with this review, I never really saw this show all the seasons out. I saw some episodes here and there, but never watched every episode. But with that said. Throughout my watch of Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo, it felt like I watched a reverse Mask of Phantasm. With Mask of the Phantasm, I got the feeling that people went all out, doing a worthy entry of the animated series. Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo came off as a last minute attempt to cash in on the fans that desperately wanted some more content based on the show they loved. The biggest reason for this is the animation.…

10 Films That Made Me Lose Faith in Cinema
Cinema is sacred, and it needs to be protected at all costs. Unfortunately, every now and then, a film comes along, trying to tarnish the art form. Whether it’d be a movie that exists just for advertising purposes, a movie with a CGI’d animal protagonist, or a remake that rips off a masterpiece shot for shot, there are some movies that really make you question why they were ever greenlit – and who exactly greenlit them. Here are 10 of those movies that made me lose hope in cinema. The Emoji Movie đź’© The Bye Bye Man When you’re a horror movie called The Bye Bye Man, you’d better poke…

BATMAN: MASK OF THE PHANTASM Review
Batman gets framed for murder while a new foe has appeared. Are these two somehow connected? When people discuss which Batman movie is the best, Mask of the Phantasm is often one of the contenders during those conversations. After rewatching it again years after my first watch, I can safely say that I understand why, even though I might not find it to be the crown jewel for the Caped Crusader, it is a spot on his personal Mount Rushmore for sure though. What I like the most about this movie, is that while it is truly a crime thriller first and foremost, it dwells more into the mind of…

Feature: Is TITANS Destined to Fail?
I love the Teen Titans. I love the characters, I love the stories, I love the giant T-shaped tower; it’s probably my favorite team in all of comics. It’s a series for all ages, so when we have rumors of the very first live-action adaptation being in a TV-MA rating range, It makes me a little nervous. Titans tone is that of The Avengers, not The Defenders. For those who don’t know, the Teen Titans are a group of young heroes (mostly sidekicks) who band together and form their own team. The team consisted of Robin (Dick Grayson), Changeling, Starfire, Raven, and Cyborg. With Kid Flash, Donna Troy and others…

5 More Animated DC Shows That Should Go to the Movies
With films like Teen Titans Go to the Movies, it makes you wonder, what other DC animated series should Go to the Movies? Well, that’s the topic of today’s feature. The 5 DC Animated Series that should go to the movies. Batman: The Animated Series will not be on this list only because it went to the movies way back in 1993 with Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. All other DC properties are fair game. 5. Batman the Brave and the Bold Just because Batman: The Animated Series isn’t on this list doesn’t mean the Dark Knight isn’t represented. Batman the Brave and the Bold is a more kid-friendly take…

REVIEW: BATMAN VS. TWO-FACE
The Adam West Batman series ranks among my favorite Batman outings. I understand why many people prefer the more serious takes on Bruce Wayne, but I’ve always loved the fun rock’em sock’em good time of Batman ’66. When DC announced the animated revival, I was pumped. And that film was plenty amazing. But then they had to go and announce a sequel. And not just any sequel, but a sequel with WILLIAM FREAKIN’ SHATNER as Harvey Dent/Two-Face. Heck YEAH I was pumped for that. And guess what: the movie delivers. Adam West’s final appearance excels as a statement of what it means to be a hero and a swan song…

When there’s trouble you know who to call… The Teen Titans make their big screen debut in DC’s latest film, Teen Titans Go! to the Movies. Based on the Teen Titans Go! animated series, Go to the Movies is about Robin wanting to be a movie star. He sees every superhero in history getting a film, but not the Teen Titans. This is basically the entire plot of the movie. Does Teen Titans Go! to the Movies actually work? Well… The film is in the same style as the show, with a bit more polish because of the bigger budget. The main antagonist is Slade Wilson (Will Arnett), an assassin who wants to mind…
