Review: DAREDEVIL Season 3
It’s funny. When I first heard that Marvel was doing a TV show with Netflix based on the Daredevil property, I got confused. Before the announcement, I always thought that they would introduce him through a movie instead of a show. Fast forward years later, and I can safely say that I fully understand now. Sure, I would love to see Daredevil on the big screen again one day, but in an era of flashy superpowers, mighty gadgets, and all that being shown on the big screen, I don’t know if Daredevil would work for the big screen (even though I would love to be wrong). Anyway, let’s go on…

“Bye, Felicia” – Netflix Cancels LUKE CAGE
Fresh on the heels of Iron Fist‘s mortalization, another hero had his bulletproof exterior shattered. Late Friday evening, Netflix and Marvel Television announced that Luke Cage would not be returning for its third season. “Unfortunately, Marvel’s Luke Cage will not return for a third season,” the companies said in a statement. “Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is grateful to the dedicated showrunner, writers, cast and crew who brought Harlem’s Hero to life for the past two seasons, and to all the fans who have supported the series.” Cage’s small screen journey started as a supporting role in Jessica Jones, before branching off into a solo series and The Defenders…

Review: TITANS Season 1 Episode 2
Read our review of Titans Episode One! Sigh… I am still trying to hold on to hope. This review is going to discuss some events, especially in the final moments of the episode, which are very spoilerific. There will be an indicator where that starts. Episode two of Titans, Hawk and Dove spend time bringing the feathered few to the flesh, devoting the first ten minutes to their life and relationship. Alan Ritchson brings us a nuanced Hank Hall, quick to anger, quick to quip, interacting with the world with his heart on his sleeve, and raises the rating of the show by his words alone. Minka Kelly remains undisturbed…

Opinion: Why the DAREDEVIL Movie is Better than the DAREDEVIL TV Show
Hello! You’re here! Welcome to this hot take. I know there’s multiple opinions on this topic, and I’m in the very tiny minority. If you listened to our Daredevil Podcast, you got a small glimpse of this argument, and if you haven’t listened, you should! But here goes nothing! Why the Daredevil movie is better than the Daredevil TV show. Ah Daredevil. Highly controversial, this movie isn’t one of the best. But it isn’t one of the worst. I really enjoyed Jennifer Gardner‘s portrayal of Elektra, she gave the role some sexiness, bad***ery that it desperately needed. The plot was terrible, but I actually enjoyed the script. Writing can be good…

SUPERGIRL Will Introduce Lex Luthor in Season 4
Supergirl has featured many different characters from Superman lore, such as Jimmy James Olsen, Metallo, and the Man of Steel himself. Lois Lane will appear this year during the “Elseworlds” crossover event. But one character who has been absent is Superman’s arch nemesis, Lex Luthor. Well, that is finally going to change this season. The CW has announced that Lex Luthor is set to appear on Supergirl this season. He will be a recurring character, and casting begins soon. However, he will not be in the “Elseworlds” crossover. Executive producers Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller had this to say about the news. “We’re beyond excited to introduce iconic villain, Lex Luthor,…

RETROSPECTIVE REVIEW: DAREDEVIL Season 2
Daredevil Season 3 is only one day away, and your favorite Swedish geek is as hyped towards it as you are. Daredevil is my favorite of the Netflix Marvel shows, even though I still laugh that Matt Murdock is played by the same actor who plays the lead in Mathew Vaughn’s Stardust. This season is arguably the better one, compared to the first. The pace feels a lot smoother, and no arc gets the feeling of not having a closure or being unnecessary. You don’t sit there, find it dragging, and ask why Daredevil is returning when Murdock and Foggy are in a courtroom drama. Every part works for the story…

First Look at Superman’s New Suit in Arrowverse “Elseworlds” BTS Photo
This year’s Arrowverse crossover, titled “Elseworlds,” is already a big deal by introducing Lois Lane, Batwoman, and more characters. But perhaps most significantly, it marks the return of Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) to The CW. Green Arrow and Flash will finally get to meet the Man of Steel, and since these shows usually can’t include DC’s A-listers, this is a big deal. Now, it looks like Superman will be sporting a new outfit for the event. Arrow star Stephen Amell tweeted the following BTS photo, featuring him with Hoechlin and The Flash‘s Grant Gustin. In the photo, Hoechlin is wearing a black Superman suit, a stark contrast from his classic costume. 🤯🤯🤯…

ARROW Promotes Kirk Acevedo to Series Regular for Season 7
Arrow is returning with its season seven premiere tomorrow night, but we have one last bit of major news surrounding the show’s new year. Kirk Acevedo, who plays villain Ricardo Diaz, has been upgraded to a series regular for season seven. Originally introduced as a supporting foe, Diaz revealed himself as the true big bad on Arrow last season. He orchestrated the dissolution of Team Arrow, killed Quentin Lance, and forced Oliver Queen to publicly out himself as the Green Arrow. But in an unprecedented move for Arrow, Diaz will continue to antagonize our heroes beyond one season. Normally, the big bad is either killed or locked up, and the…

ARROW Star Stephen Amell Calls “Elseworlds” the Best Arrowverse Crossover Yet
This year’s Arrowverse, titled “Elseworlds,” will be a little smaller, having three shows instead of four. But, it will be a big deal. It will introduce Batwoman, Nora Fries, and Lois Lane to the Arrowverse, while Superman is set to return. Now, we have some more hints on what to expect, courtesy of Arrow star Stephen Amell. During a Facebook Q&A session, Amell says that this crossover is “f***ing bananas,” and he has some very, very high praise on what to expect. “I think that this will be the best crossover event that we do. And not just the best but the best by a really, really wide margin. And…
