AGENTS OF SHIELD Season 5 Has A Premiere Date
Rejoice, Agents of SHIELD fans!
ABC has announced that the show will return to the air on December 1st at 8 PM EST for a special two-hour premiere.
Starting December 8th, the show will move to its new regular time of Fridays at 9 PM EST.
In a press release, Channing Dungey, president of ABC Entertainment said, “We’re so proud of the way that ‘Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD’ has grown creatively every season. The series is a top performer for us especially in delayed viewing where we see almost triple-digit increases. Season five is their strongest season yet, and we can’t wait for the fans to see it. We feel that the move to Friday, creating a ‘genre night’ on ABC, appeals to the show’s loyal fan base.”
Agents of SHIELD stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Henry Simmons, and Natalia Cordova-Buckley. Nick Blood’s Lance Hunter is conformed to return, and veteran actor Patrick Fabian is rumored for a guest role. Season 5 will also see a fan favorite behind the camera and the return of Season 4’s “pod” structure.
