5 More Nintendo Mobile Games We Want to See
In addition to its console titles, Nintendo has recently expanded to creating games for mobile devices, such as cell phones. These games have pulled from some of the company’s biggest franchises, such Super Mario, Mario Kart, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, and Fire Emblem. So far, the games have been a success, bringing in over $1 billion in revenue. While unconfirmed, Nintendo will surely continue mining its properties for mobile. Below, we list five games that we’d love to see made by Nintendo for mobile devices. Donkey Kong Donkey Kong is one of Nintendo’s biggest franchises, so this will surely be one of the next mobile titles to consider. Playing a Donkey…

Review: TRIALS OF MANA (Nintendo Switch)
Square Enix gives us another JRPG, this time in the form of Trials of Mana. When the legendary Mana Tree is withering, it’s up to a group of heroes to save it. Right from the start, the player finds the main reasons why the game has such high replay value. The game gives the player access to six different characters, with their own set of skills and origin. With these six characters, the player chooses three of them as their playable characters. In essence, the story is the same no matter who the main character of your choice is. However, the key difference is the beginning and the end due…

Review: FIRE EMBLEM (2003)
Here, we follow Lyn, Hector, and Eliwood – three lords on the quest to save Eliwood’s father, as well as defeat the evil Black Fangs and their leader Nergal. Let us go back to 2003. The sun is shining, the rain is pouring down the streets, and the western Nintendo community gets access to a series that the Super Smash Bros. community can’t get enough of. Enter Fire Emblem, the seventh installment of the series with the same name. To explain the franchise in the simplest at terms, it boils down to it being a virtual board game. The game transition from chapter to chapter, where the “board” changes depending…

5 DLC Characters for SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE That We Want to See
5. Crash Bandicoot – Activision I have never played any of the Crash Bandicoot games. So, why do I want him in Smash you ask? Well, with all other video game mascots already in the game, Crash is the one that is missing. Think about it, to see him duke it out against Sonic and Mario would be awesome. 4. Impa from The Legend of Zelda – Nintendo The Legend of Zelda is a weird title when it comes to representation in Super Smash Bros. They have a good amount of stages and assist trophies in the game, but only six playable characters. And to make matters worse, three of…

5 Games We Want to See on Nintendo Switch
Nintendo‘s current console, the Switch, has been a massive success. Its biggest video games include Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Currently, Nintendo is going all out, continuing to plan new games and expand the current titles. With Nintendo having a celebrated list of video games, it’s only a matter of time for the company to revisit more titles for the Switch. In fact, narrowing the list to a mere five is difficult. Regardless, below we list five games that we want to see on the Switch, sooner or later. Super Mario Sunshine Super Mario Sunshine was a huge…

Review: POKKEN TOURNAMENT DX
Let’s finish off this Pokemon Week with yet another spin-off title. This time, it’s Pokken Tournament. Pokken was first released back in 2015 for Wii U, with an “expansion pack” of the game going by the name of Pokken Tournament DX releasing in September last year. It’s the Expansion pack for Nintendo Switch that I’m reviewing today. The game is a 3D fighter in the style of Namco Bandai’s usual style for their fighting games. Have you played games like Naruto Shippuden Ninja Storm, Soul Calibur or Tekken, I can’t see you have a problem to get into this game. The game works smoothly and is easy to understand. For…

Opinion: Why POKEMON STADIUM Needs to Return
I can imagine some reactions right now. Going from being confused, horrified or downright shocked. Getting nightmares from the days of old on how a simple random trailer could be so horrifying because you were afraid that a gamble you took would fail miserably. For you that wonder what I’m talking about, let me give you some context. On August 1, 1999, Pokemon Stadium was released in Japan, with a western release one year later. While there isn’t a story to follow or Pokemon to catch, there is still the access to defeat gym leaders and different types of tournaments. You also have the chance to play some small variety…

REVIEW: Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness
Pokemon XD Gale Darkness is a sequel to Pokemon Colosseum. It takes place in the same region, but a couple of years after the events that happened in the previous game. While you don’t play as the same character as before, the objective is still the same, and the use of only double battles is here as well. How does it compare compared to Colosseum? It has its advantage towards it, but also disadvantages. Unlike Colusseum, Gale of Darkness allows you to save wherever you are, compared to Coliseum who hade the idiotic inclusion of save stations. Something that Gale of Darkness also has improvements on is about purification (which is the part of…

Review: POKEMON COLOSSEUM
In Colosseum, you follow the protagonist of Wes, a mysterious young man that becomes the keystone to stop an evil organization that does evil experience with Pokemon. With me reviewing Pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Crystal, some of you probably thought that Emerald was next. You were close to being right since I was a finger snap from doing so. However, looking through the pile of Pokemon games, I realized that I owned some that deserves more recognition. One of them is Pokemon Colosseum. Besides being the first 3D Adventure game for Pokemon (as well as the first home console RPG), Colosseum is breaking the mold when it comes to a…
