Arrow Season 3, Episode 10, ‘Left Behind’ Review
[The following is a review for Arrow season 3, episode 10, ‘Left Behind.’ There will be spoilers.] After the events of the midseason finale, Arrow viewers were left with several weeks of speculation as to the full extent of Oliver Queen’s fate at the hands of Ra’s al Ghul. Oliver was very clearly stabbed and dumped off a cliff the last time we saw him, so the question of when and how he’ll recover is top of mind, right alongside the question: how will Starling City get by without him? This episode answers both questions, jumping right into the second one, focusing on (s the title states) those left behind…

SUICIDE SQUAD Update: Jake Gyllenhaal Passes On Rick Flagg Role
It was recently revealed that Tom Hardy had dropped out of Warner Bros.’ Suicide Squad movie. The initial reason given was the actor’s busy schedule over the next few months, while other sources say that the exit was due to Hardy’s dislike of the most recent script. Either way, the search is on to find a new actor to play Rick Flagg. The studio’s first choice for replacing Hardy in the role was Jake Gyllenhaal, who previously worked with director David Ayer on End of Watch. Sadly, the two will not be reuniting for the DC supervillain film. Variety has confirmed that Gyllenhaal has passed on an offer to play…

ARROW’s Ray Palmer And Felicity Smoak To Guest-Star In THE FLASH Episode 18
Ray Palmer (played by former Superman Brandon Routh) is one of the most praised additions to this season of Arrow, which returns from its winter hiatus tonight. So much so, that there is talk of spinning off The Atom into his own series. Palmer is currently moving towards becoming the DC superhero, with his hi-tech suit being teased several times. But while we wait for him to officially don the costume, it appears that Palmer will be paying a visit to Central City – and he’s bringing a familiar face with him. Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim spoke with Variety recently to promote tonight’s midseason premiere of Arrow. During the interview,…

BATMAN VS. ROBIN Box Art and Details Revealed
One of the things that most intrigued comic fans going into the New 52 relaunch at DC Comics was Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo on Batman. The pair kicked off the blockbuster run with a twelve issue arc, The Court of Owls. The story arc introduced the Court of Owls, an organization of the rich and powerful almost as old as Gotham itself dedicated to keeping the city corrupt. It gave Snyder and Capullo’s younger Batman a villain that knew his city better than himself and satisfied many readers. Now we get to relive the spirit of that story with the April 14th direct to home market release: Batman vs…

Rumor: Batman To Appear In SUICIDE SQUAD; Ellen Yindel In Solo BATMAN Film?
This week saw a lot of story details leaked for the Suicide Squad film. Among them was the reveal that Batman would be referenced and possibly even shown via camera footage. This makes some sense, given the presence of his arch-nemesis The Joker (played by Jared Leto). And now, a new report suggests that the Caped Crusader will make a full-fledged appearance in the supervillain team-up. According to Forbes, Batman is indeed set to appear in Suicide Squad. His presence, which sounds to be little more than a cameo, is said to be felt near the end of the movie in a scene related to Joker. Apparently, this scene will…

New Look At Batman In Leaked Promotional Art For BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE
While we wait for the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice marketing campaign to kick off within the coming months (a teaser trailer is expected to be released by the summer), we have our first glimpse at some promotional artwork for the film. JoBlo has spotted the following art at last week’s Hong Kong International Licensing Show. The imagery gives our first idea (outside of fan-made manips) of what the DC Trinity look like side-by-side, even though the images of Superman and Wonder Woman were already released last summer. However, the promo art includes a new shot of Ben Affleck’s Batman (possibly the same one shown at last year’s San…

Penguin to Penguin: Danny DeVito Praises GOTHAM’s Robin Lord Taylor
Gotham has been a success for Fox and DC, and most viewers agree that a lot of that success can be credited to Robin Lord Taylor’s fantastic performance as Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin. He’s been both charismatic and chilling with Penguin and wonderfully devious too. One person who is definitely a fan of Taylor is the last man to play the character: Danny DeVito. DeVito brought the Penguin to life in Tim Burton’s Batman Returns opposite Michael Keaton’s Batman. You can currently catch DeVito on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia on FXX. Access Hollywood caught up with DeVito as he promoted his series last week at the Television Critics…
