While we wait for the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice marketing campaign to kick off within the coming months (a teaser trailer is expected to be released by the summer), we have our first glimpse at some promotional artwork for the film. JoBlo has spotted the following art at last week’s Hong Kong International Licensing Show. The imagery gives our first idea (outside of fan-made manips) of what the DC Trinity look like side-by-side, even though the images of Superman and Wonder Woman were already released last summer. However, the promo art includes a new shot of Ben Affleck’s Batman (possibly the same one shown at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con?), featuring a more upright-standing Caped Crusader and his impressive muscles. Check out the images below, and stay tuned for more as we have it.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to hit theaters March 25th, 2016. The second installment in the DC Cinematic Universe stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto, Holly Hunter, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne. Zack Snyder directs from a script by Chris Terrio.
