According to the site’s source, the film will officially begin shooting mid-March, but won’t be doing location filming in Michigan until at least late spring (May/June). The source also suggests that a lot has changed since Chris Terrio took over screenwriting duties. Fortunately, however, Ben Affleck’s Batsuit and Batmobile appear to be unchanged. In fact, there is said to be a shoot going on now in Los Angeles involving the latter. It’s unknown if it’s for the movie or simply testing/marketing. Below are all the details from “Doctor Detroit”. “I’ve been told that Michigan shooting will start…

Review: THE LEGO MOVIE (2014)
Warning: the following contains some very mild spoilers. This original computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared. When I first heard that Warner Bros. was developing a feature length LEGO movie, I laughed at the notion. Despite being a longtime fan of the franchise, I never thought that a big screen adaptation would work, especially since most “toy films” are hit-and-miss. However,…

Greg Berlanti Talks THE FLASH Show’s “Sci-Fi Bent”, S.T.A.R. Labs’ Presence And More
Speaking with Digital Spy, Arrow executive producer Greg Berlanti discusses the planned Flash spin-off. He affirms that, despite the two shows existing in the same universe, Barry Allen’s series will be different from Oliver Queen’s. The former will be more sci-fi influenced, says Berlanti. “Barry is different from Oliver. He’s a man of science and has more of a sci-fi bent, whereas Arrow has a bit more of a crime bent. We often talk about how Oliver comes off like a pessimist, but deep down he’s an optimist and has hope. Barry lost his mother at a very young age, his father was sent to prison for murdering his mom, he…

DC Movie News Bits: The Rock (Sort Of) Addresses Green Lantern Rumors, New MAN OF STEEL Domain Registered, Bill Murray Talks Batman
A few tidbits of DC movie news have found their way online. First up, the Dwayne Johnson as Green Lantern rumor has been circulating the web recently, based on a three-month old Instagram post from the actor. IGN picked it up, and Johnson himself responded on his Twitter account. He kind of did, kind of didn’t deny the possibility of his playing John Stewart, rehashing the hashtag that reignited the speculation. “All I said was… #LanternCanWhupSuperman.” Johnson did say that he will work on a DC movie this year, and based on his interest in playing Stewart, there’s a possibility of his tackling that role in Batman vs. Superman and/or…

Adam Driver Was Actually Wanted For Lex Luthor In BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN; Matt Damon Has Seen Ben Affleck’s Batsuit
We have some new interesting tidbits for Batman vs. Superman today. The Hollywood Reporter has posted an article that goes behind-the-scenes of Jesse’s Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and why Zack Snyder and company decided to go with a younger actor for the role. In the Man of Steel sequel, Luthor will be a childhood friend with Clark Kent, taking influence from recent depictions of their relationship. Warner Bros. played around with the idea of an older Lex, but obviously decided not to pursue that path. Also, it turns out Adam Driver – who was reportedly up for the role of Nightwing – was actually approached for Luthor, but a (scheduling?)…
