BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Producer Michael Uslan Talks Ben Affleck’s Casting
Since 1989’s Batman, Michael Uslan has produced every single Batman movie to date, both live action and animated. Unsurprisingly, he is on board for the Dark Knight’s next outing, the untitled Superman/Batman film. Speaking with Electric Playground, Uslan talks about the Man of Steel sequel, praising director Zack Snyder and the evolution of the Batman character. He then discusses the controversial casting of Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader, comparing it to Michael Keaton’s casting as Batman and Heath Ledger as The Joker. You can check out the video interview with Uslan below.
Batman vs. Superman (not the final title) is scheduled to hit theaters May 6th, 2016. The follow-up to Man of Steel, the next installment in the DC Cinematic Universe stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne. Zack Snyder directs from a script by David S. Goyer and Chris Terrio.
