KRYPTON Showrunner Breaks Down That Character Reveal
We’re now halfway through the first season of SyFy’s Krypton, and this week’s episode was a big one. The episode focuses heavily on the House of Zod, as well as Lyta’s trial. ARROW Gets a New Showrunner for Season 7
The CW recently renewed Arrow for a seventh season, and there are big changes on the way. Roy Harper will return as a series regular, while the season six finale is sad to be a real gamechanger. Now, there’s a shakeup behind-the-scenes. It has been announced (via Entertainment Weekly) that Arrow has upgraded Beth Schwartz, a longtime member of the writing room, to the role of showrunner for season seven. Wendy Mericle will exit the series after this season, while Marc Guggenheim will be an executive consultant. Colton Haynes Returns to ARROW as Series Regular for Season 7
Arrow was recently picked up by The CW for a seventh season. While plot details are currently under wraps, the season will bring back a fan-favorite character to the spotlight. It has been announced (via TV Line) that Colton Haynes’ Roy Harper will be back as a series regular on Arrow next season. DC Adds Superman Prequel Series METROPOLIS to Streaming Service
DC Entertainment is prepping to launch its own streaming service, which will include original content. Titans and Young Justice: Outsiders are premiering sometime this year, while an animated Harley Quinn series is also in the works. Now, a fourth show has entered development. Warner Bros. has announced that a new 13-episode series titled Metropolis is coming to DC’s streaming service. The show, which takes place before Superman’s arrival, focuses on Lois Lane and Lex Luthor in a fringe science investigation-type story. Katrina Law Returning to ARROW This Season
The Daughter of the Demon is returning to Arrow for episode sixteen this season, titled “The Thanatos Guild,” according to Variety. The episode is said to be one that will change Arrow forever, as Nyssa (played by Katrina Law) will come to Star City with news of an impending danger that will affect everyone on the show. When we last saw Nyssa al Ghul on Arrow, she aligned herself with Oliver Queen and others to defeat Adrian Chase (and her sister Talia) on Lian Yu in the season five finale. Acolyte is the Villain of DC’s TITANS
DC fans have been hungry for live-action Titans news, and That Hashtag Show continues to deliver. In an exclusive from That Hashtag Show, they revealed a casting call snippet showing that the new show’s Big Bad™ will be Acolyte. The Acolyte – Male. African-American 40-50. Confident. The villain of our story. He is after Rachel and her powers, trying to kidnap her after he murders her mother. Judging by the snippet, all signs point to his arc being heavily intertwined with Raven’s. In the comics, Acolyte is something of a small time villain; a normal human posing as a powerful being. Episode 104: 5 x 12 Air Date: February 8 2017 Bratva In last week’s episode, we traveled to Russia, the focus of Arrow’s famed flashbacks this entire season. In the beginning, we found Oliver and Talia taking down some low-level drug dealers/target practice in a flashback. We see Oliver’s skills come to light.
