Geoff Johns Shifting to New Role for Warner Bros. and DC; Will Write GREEN LANTERN CORPS Movie
Comic book writer Geoff Johns was appointed as DC Entertainment’s Chief Creative Officer in 2010, before being hired as a President in 2016. Today, Johns is exiting those roles, but that doesn’t mean he’s totally leaving Warner Bros. or DC. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johns has signed a new exclusive deal for writing and producing with WB and DC. As a result, he has stepped down from the roles of CCO and President at DC Entertainment. Replacing him in the former role is Jim Lee, who will continue to act as co-publisher alongside Dan DiDio.
