The Broadcast Film Critics Association today announced the nominations for the 19th Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, which will air on The CW next month. While blockbusters have a light presence in the selections, Man of Steel managed to nab one nomination. Star Henry Cavill – who brilliantly played Superman in the film – is up for the “Best Actor in an Action Movie” award, alongside Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man 3), Brad Pitt (World War Z), and Mark Wahlberg (Lone Survivor).
