BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Tidbits: Zack Snyder Possibly Scouting Locations & More On Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman Contract

We have a couple more updates for Batman vs. Superman. Yesterday, it was confirmed that Gal Gadot signed on to play Wonder Woman in three films, starting with the Man of Steel follow-up. Now, Variety has chimed in with some clarification. The site affirms that Gadot is contracted to reprise the role in a Justice League movie, which is rumored to be released shortly after Batman vs. Superman. Plus, she’s expected to play Wonder Woman once more in the character’s own film. She will make $300,000 per movie. This news isn’t exactly surprising, but it’s good to know that a solo movie starring Diana Prince is at least being considered. A Wonder Woman film will most likely be released after Justice League.
In other Batman vs. Superman news, we have a minor production update. Director Zack Snyder was spotted at the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum in Michigan recently, apparently as a part of location scouting. Athletic director Mark Hollis tweeted the following image with the caption, “Great to have @zacksnyder on campus. Is it a clue? I don’t know…” With production set to begin in the coming months, more news should come soon. [Via Henry Cavill Online]

Batman vs. Superman (not the final title) is scheduled to hit theaters May 6th, 2016. The follow-up to Man of Steel, the next installment in the DC Cinematic Universe stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne. Zack Snyder directs from a script by David S. Goyer and Chris Terrio.
