ARROW Casts Marc Singer As Creature Commandos Leader For Season 3 Recurring Role
This week’s midseason finale of Arrow ended on a truly shocking note (check out our recap here, in case you missed it). But while we wait for the series to resume next month, we have some casting news on a character to appear in the season’s flashback storyline. According to Comic Book Resources, Beastmaster and V actor Marc Singer is set to play General Matthew Shrieve, who in the comics led the team Creature Commandos.
Here is Warner Bros. TV’s description of Arrow‘s version of Shrieve: “In the DC Comics, Matthew Shrieve is the leader of a group known as the Creature Commandos. In ‘Arrow’ he will play a significant role in the latter portion of the season’s flashback storyline.” Shrieve will make his debut in the 14th episode of the season – which will also see the return of Slade Wilson – and will recur from there. Singer is also not a stranger to the DC Universe, as he voiced Kirk Langstrom/Man-Bat in Batman: The Animated Series.
Stay tuned for more news as we have it. Arrow returns to The CW on January 21st.
