Official Plot Synopsis for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Released; New Specs on Batmobile

We’ve seen plenty of images, posters and a trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. However, an official plot summary has yet to be released…until now. Via Collider, Warner Bros. has released a first description of what the movie is actually about. It is not exactly a shocking synopsis – it hints at the anticipated battle between Superman and Batman, as well as a threat that rises in the midst of this conflict. Doomsday, perhaps? Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Additionally, Collider was present at the beginning of Licensing Expo 2015 today. There, the Dawn of Justice Batmobile and costumes for Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman were on display. For the former, a description and a lot of new specs were provided, including details on its weaponry, weight, reputation and more.

Single-handedly designed and fabricated in near complete seclusion by The Batman, this infamous pursuit and capture vehicle has earned its reputation as the apex predator on the mean streets of Gotham City. Over powered with an unmatched hybrid of prototype military and civilian performance technologies, this top machine has been estimated to reach speeds of up to 205 MPH. The Batmobile’s imposing defense capabilities, supported by stolen Wayne Industries technologies, have been integrated with the latest in covert military grade armaments, stealth and active protection systems.
