One of the new animated DC films announced at Comic-Con last week was Batman: Bad Blood, which marks the debut of Batwoman in this line of movies. It serves as the third installment in the recent Batman series, which includes Son of Batman and Batman vs. Robin. Now, we have a confirmed cast for the feature, including new characters.
Via TV Insider, Warner Bros. has announced the voice cast for Batman: Bad Blood. Yvonne Strahovski will voice Katherine Kane/Batwoman, while Gaius Charles will play another addition to the Bat-Family: Luke Fox, aka Batwing. Another new character coming to Bad Blood is Lucius Fox, Luke’s father, voiced by Ernie Hudson.
As for returning characters, Batman: Bad Blood will again star Jason O’Mara as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Stuart Allan as Damian Wayne/Robin, Sean Maher as Dick Grayson/Nightwing, and Morena Baccarin as Talia al Ghul. The movie is set to be released in early 2016 on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital HD.
As always, Batman: Bad Blood will be the first of three animated DC films to be released next year. Joining it on the 2016 slate are Justice League vs. Titans and Batman: The Killing Joke. Stay tuned for more news as we have it.
