Actor Saïd Taghmaoui Joins WONDER WOMAN Cast and Posts First Set Photos

While Charles Roven
says that filming is going to start towards the end of November, there’s been a
lot of signs that production began on Wonder
this week.  On November 9th,
DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer, Geoff
Johns made a pair of tweets; one a photo from a location in Ricksmanworth, England and the other “@PattyJenks It’s THE DAY!
Both could be dismissed as playful subterfuge on Johns’
part, however this is more concrete.
French actor, Saïd Taghmaoui
(American Hustle, Lost) took to his Facebook
page to post a pair of photos.  One of
three director’s chairs with his name as well as the only confirmed members of
the cast; Chris Pine and Gal Gadot.  The other is of Taghmaoui and Pine outside a
trailer with a sign that reads “Nightingale” which is the production
title for Wonder Woman.
What’s notable about the second photo is that both men are
in dress that fits with the late 1910s and early 1920s.  This would seemingly confirm the rumors that
much of the film takes place during World War One and that Steve Trevor’s part
will also be during that time frame.
But as a wise man once said, “You don’t have to take my
word for it.”  Take a look at the
photos below:
