Geoff Johns Teases “A Lot of Plans” for DC’s Booster Gold

For a while, fans have been wondering if we’ll see Booster Gold pop up in one of DC’s live action film or television projects. After being confirmed to not appear on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, a rumor claimed that a Booster Gold/Blue Beetle team-up film is in the works. We haven’t heard any official confirmation on that one, but rest assured, there ARE plans for Booster Gold…somewhere.

Speaking with ComicBook.com at the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice premiere, DC Entertainment’s Geoff Johns weighs in on possible plans for Booster Gold, whether they be film, TV or comics. He simply says, “You’ll see [Booster Gold] very soon, and there’s talks about…there’s actually a lot of plans for Booster Gold, one of my favorite characters. But yeah, Booster Gold fans, you will definitely be happy with what we’ve got coming up in the years ahead.”

So, will we be seeing Booster Gold in the DC Extended Universe in the near future? Or will the character join the DC Television Multiverse after all? We’ll know for sure soon. Stay tuned.
