No Fifth DC Superhero Show for the CW

“And on the seventh day God ended His work
which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He
had made.” –Genesis 2:2
How many
news stories do you get to open with a quote from the Bible?
So anyway, DC TV on the CW has been an
undeniable success.  Arrow, Flash, iZombie, Legends of Tomorrow and coming this fall
Season 2 of Supergirl will anchor
the week on the CW.  As it stands right
now, there will Supergirl on Monday, Flash Tuesday, Arrow Wednesday and Legends
on Thursday.
The
obvious question is “Will they round out the week with a Friday show?”  The short answer is “No.”  When he was asked by TVLine CW president Mark
Pedowitz explained: “We weren’t expecting
to have
four [superhero shows] this season.”  He
explained that Supergirl was offered to the CW by CBS
“I said ‘Where can I sign up?’  so at this time, there are no real discussions
about any [additional] superhero characters.
Pedowitz did
allow for his plans to change if the situation changes but for now, go and enjoy
your Friday nights: Maybe see a movie, or play a game, have a discussion with
someone on Social Media.  OR better yet,
check in on Watchtower of Babel News for all your DC Media news.
