William Shatner to Voice Two-Face in the Next BATMAN 66 Animated Movie
This week at New York Comic-Con, Warner Bros. held the world premiere of Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, an animated return to the world of the 1966 series. The movie will be screened in select theaters on Monday, before a digital release on Tuesday and a Blu-Ray debut in November.
During the panel, it was announced that a sequel to Return of the Caped Crusaders is coming next year. And this follow-up will pit Batman against one of his most iconic villains.
2017 will see the release of Batman vs. Two-Face. In this film, Harvey Dent will be voiced by none other than Star Trek legend William Shatner. Pitting Shatner against Adam West should be a delightful little adventure.
Two-Face was originally planned to appear in the 1966 Batman show, but his episode was scrapped due to being “too gruesome and too violent” for the family-friendly series. This was later adapted in a Batman ’66 comic titled “The Lost Episode.” Could this story be the basis for the new animated movie?
