SyFy’s KRYPTON Casts DC Superhero Adam Strange
At San Diego Comic-Con this year, it was confirmed that SyFy’s Superman prequel series Krypton will feature several superheroes from the DC Universe, including Adam Strange and Hawkwoman. These heroes come in to stop a modern-day conspiracy that threatens to stop Kal-El’s legacy from ever happening. Now, one of these heroes has been cast.
According to Deadline, Melrose Place actor Shaun Sipos has landed the series regular role of Adam Strange on Krypton. The character is described as “…a world-weary human, who finds himself stranded on Krypton as the unlikely mentor to Seg-El, Superman’s grandfather.”
As said earlier, Strange is one of several fan-favorite DC characters who will join the show; in addition to the heroes, we’ll be seeing villains Doomsday and Brainiac. More and more of these characters will appear as the series progresses.
Stay tuned for more news as we have it. Krypton premieres sometime next year on SyFy.
