JUSTICE LEAGUE Star Henry Cavill Talks Superman’s “Rebirth” and Hopes for That MAN OF STEEL Sequel
Henry Cavill’s Superman began DC Films’ shared universe, paving the way for more superheroes. His death in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice inspires Bruce Wayne to form a team with these heroes, leading us into Justice League. The Man of Steel was almost completely absent from that movie’s marketing, but without going into spoilers, Superman is back and better than ever. Speaking with LA Times, Cavill discusses Superman’s characterization in Justice League, saying that it’s a “rebirth” of the hero. “He’s definitely different from previous incarnations. I feel like this is the natural progression from the end of Man of Steel into what he is now. This is a rebirth…

JUSTICE LEAGUE Experiences Box Office Doom with an Underwhelming $96 Million Opening Weekend
DC Films’ Justice League has had many struggles in its launch, from lukewarm reviews by critics to extensive behind-the-scenes issues. While most of the recent DC movies haven’t been well received by critics, they have all earned a lot of money. However, that doesn’t look to be the case this time. Per The Hollywood Reporter, Justice League is opening this weekend with an estimated $96 million. For any other movie, that’d be pretty good. But for a big blockbuster starring some of the world’s most iconic superheroes and with a nearly $300 million budget? That’s pretty bad. It also marks the lowest DC Films opening to date; every other installment has…

Ranking the DCEU So Far
Hey friends! With Justice League now in theaters, it’s safe to say the DCEU has kicked into high gear. Today I’ll share with you my rankings for the 5 films that have been part of DC’s Extended Universe thus far – and yes, this list includes Justice League! So without further ado, let’s get started with… #5: Suicide Squad This movie was a huge disappointment. I remember liking it okay the first time I saw it, and then I realized how much of a hot mess the movie was upon rewatch. The marketing, which featured Sweet’s “Ballroom Blitz” and Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” was on point, but the film itself was…

DEADPOOL 2 Gets a Teaser Trailer and Synopsis
Fans went wild over the marketing campaign for Deadpool a couple years ago, and sure enough, its sequel is trying to replicate that success. Today, Fox released the film’s teaser trailer, and it’s about as silly as you’d expect. The trailer is mostly a Bob Ross parody, with our hero painting and spouting profanities in typical Deadpool fashion. We also get a few brief glimpses of actual footage from the movie. Additionally, Fox has released an official synopsis for the film. The site is currently calling it The Untitled Deadpool Sequel. It’s unclear if it really is untitled or if the title is being super-meta. But, we should expect official…

Review: JUSTICE LEAGUE (2017)
The DC Universe has had a very rocky start. Man of Steel, the first film of the franchise had a mixed reception. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice faired even worse, and Suicide Squad was laughable. After a few bumps, things started to take a turn. Wonder Woman was a huge success both critically and financially; breathing new life into the franchise. It was a step in the right direction, and we hope it continues in future films. That brings us here. The first-ever live action Justice League film. Does it keep this winning streak Wonder Woman started or does it fall flat on its face? Well, let’s discuss. Justice League…
