Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok is the latest in the studio’s long line of critically acclaimed box office hits. The sequel successfully revived the Thor franchise, bringing the God of Thunder to new heights. That continues this weekend, where the film passes a key milestone.
Per Box Office Mojo, Ragnarok has now surpassed the $700 million mark at the worldwide box office. The film is now at $247.4 million in North America and $490.7 million overseas. This brings its worldwide total to $738.1 million.
Ragnarok is the ninth Marvel Cinematic Universe title to pass $700 million, and it’s currently the eighth highest grossing installment of all time. It should also crack the top 10 in North America soon. And it is by far the highest grossing Thor.
