DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Casts its Stargirl
Back at San Diego Comic-Con this year, it was announced that Stargirl will appear in season two of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. She will serve as a member of the Justice Society of America. Now, the superheroine has officially been cast.
According to IGN, Power Rangers and iZombie alum Sarah Grey will play Courtney Whitmore, aka Stargirl. It’s unclear which episode will mark her debut, while it’s unknown whether this is a recurring or regular role. Legends of Tomorrow marks the character’s second live action portrayal, following an appearance in several episodes on Smallville.
Other Justice Society of America members include Hourman (Patrick J. Adams), Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), Dr. Mid-Nite, Obsidian and Commander Steel (Matthew MacCaull).
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow premieres on Thursday, October 13th at 8 PM EST on The CW.
