LEGION Season 2 Updates: Premiere Date, Shadow King Recasting, Bryan Singer's Future

Marvel Dominates Fandango's Most Anticipated Films of 2018
Fandango has released its annual survey results, asking over 8,000 visitors about their most anticipated movies of 2018. To nobody’s surprise, Avengers: Infinity War tops the list, followed by Black Panther, Deadpool 2 and X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Fox Extends IMAX Deal for Three X-MEN Movies
20th Century Fox has expanded its deal with IMAX to show more upcoming blockbusters in this format. It was announced today (via Deadline) that the deal has been extended through 2019. The IMAX lineup includes three of the studio’s upcoming Marvel-based titles: New Mutants, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, and Gambit. (No word on whether Deadpool 2 will be included.) Few could have predicted just how long the X-Men franchise would last. 17 years later, and the series has put out ten movies to date. We’ve had the main trilogy set in the present day, with another trilogy exploring the past. We also have three Wolverine movies and a Deadpool film. 20th Century Fox Panel Confirmed for San Diego Comic-Con 2017
The last time 20th Century Fox held a San Diego Comic-Con panel was in 2015, where the studio showcased movies such as Deadpool and X-Men: Apocalypse. Unfortunately, the footage for both of those movies leaked online, despite being intended to be exclusive to SDCC. As a result, Fox skipped last year’s convention. But this year, the studio is returning. Fox will hold its SDCC panel in Hall H on Thursday, July 20th. The panel runs from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Fox Sets Release Dates for Six Untitled Marvel Movies
Without a doubt, the X-Men franchise is one of the most important at 20th Century Fox. In addition to two trilogies and two Wolverine movies, the studio recently launched the wildly successful Deadpool and Hugh Jackman’s last Wolverine outing, Logan. Fox also tried to relaunch Fantastic Four a couple years ago, but the less we say about that, the better.
