Arrow‘s fifth season finale saw the formal return of Manu Bennett’s Slade Wilson/Deathstroke, who assisted Oliver Queen and his team to defeat Prometheus. The finale saw Oliver giving Slade information on his son Joe, including his present whereabouts. This set in motion a Deathstroke arc for next season. Now, Joe has been cast.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Lucifer alum Liam Hall has landed the role of Joe Wilson. Like his father, Joe enlisted in A.S.I.S., the Australian secret military agency. Joe is now fighting for his life in a Kasnian prison, where he has the pseudonym of Kane Wolfman (no doubt a shout-out to Deathstroke co-creator Marv Wolfman).
This plot plays out in a two-episode Arrow arc focused on Slade Wilson. These episodes will include flashbacks told from Slade’s perspective.
Stay tuned for more news as we have it. Arrow returns on Thursday, October 12th at 9 PM EST on The CW.
