ONE TREE HILL’s Robert Buckley Cast In The CW’s iZOMBIE Pilot

The CW’s latest DC pilot, iZombie, has added another player to its cast. It has been announced that 666 Park Avenue and One Tree Hill actor Robert Buckley has landed a part in the Vertigo adaptation. He will play Major, who is described as “a seemingly perfect former college football player-turned-environmental engineer. Major was recently engaged to a woman named Liv, with whom he’s trying to remain friends despite still being in love with her.” Liv is said to be the protagonist of the pilot/potential series. Buckley joins previously announced cast members Malcolm Goodwin, Alexandra Krosney, and David Anders. 

iZombie is targeting a spot on The CW’s Fall 2014 schedule, which will also include Arrow Season 3 and possibly The Flash. The pilot was co-written and will be directed Rob Thomas. With casting underway and production starting soon, stay tuned for more news as we have it.
