The CW President Talks More RIVERDALE Spinoffs and Whether the Arrowverse Will End Anytime Soon
Right now, The CW’s biggest television shows are the ones based on comics. The Arrowverse consists of four live action shows – Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow – with a fifth show, Batwoman, expected to premiere next year. Meanwhile, DC’s Black Lightning has been a big hit, while Riverdale offers a new take on Archie Comics lore. Now, The CW has teased future plans for both franchises. The Boys, Riverdale, Smallville Today in our TV news roundup we have word that Karl Urban will star in Amazon’s The Boys. The news is coming from THR, and the show has already been greenlit for a series. For those of you who don’t know, The Boys is set in a darker superhero world than we are familiar with.
