Amy Adams Talks BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Filming And Wonder Woman Casting Announcement
One of the Man of Steel actors who will return for Batman vs. Superman is Amy Adams, who will reprise her Lois Lane role for the follow-up. Speaking with Collider (thanks to Comic Book Movie for the transcription), the Oscar nominated actress talked for the first time about the movie. She confirms the previously reported February start date, and when asked about the recent announcement of Gal Gadot playing Wonder Woman, she reveals that she didn’t know that Diana Prince was even in the movie. “Oh did they? I don’t even know so clearly I’m not the person to talk to. That’s awesome, I hope I get a scene with her. I love working with the gals. I think we start [filming] in February, it’s sort of the plan. I’m excited, I think it’s gonna be awesome! I think it’s gonna be good times.”
Batman vs. Superman (not the final title) is scheduled to hit theaters July 17th, 2015. The follow-up to Man of Steel, the next installment in the DC Cinematic Universe stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne. Zack Snyder directs from a script by David S. Goyer.
