While there are apparently no plans to integrate Arrow into the growing DC Cinematic Universe, series star Stephen Amell has been adamant that his take on Oliver Queen can co-exist with Henry Cavill’s Superman and Ben Affleck’s Batman. Now, in an interview with Fandango, the actor talks more about his desire to reprise his Green Arrow role for a Justice League movie. “All we have to do for something like that to happen, or even be a possibility, is continue to take care of business with our show and then we put ourselves in a position – but the important thing is our show.” He then reveals that he has had “studio level” talks about appearing in the superhero ensemble, but says that development is slower than many think. “I have had discussions, but I think the gestation process for this project is a lot slower than most people think. I mean, they haven’t even shot the next one. They haven’t even shot a frame of the movie before the movie everyone thinks is the Justice League movie!”
While it would be awesome to see Amell’s Arrow and Grant Gustin’s Flash appear in a Justice League movie alongside Cavill, Affleck and Gal Gadot, it seems more likely that the two will be separate universes. Still, what do you think?
