Video Games: INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US Follow-Up In The Works

Last year saw the release of the DC fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us. The title was a huge success, spawning an iOS version as well as a strongly received comic book series. Now, it looks like a second game is in development. At WonderCon recently, DC discussed its upcoming video game slate. During the panel, many mistook some comments as news that Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Knight is no longer coming in 2014. However, the “not a 2014” title was referring to a new Injustice game, and not the highly anticipated Arkham City sequel, which will still be released this fall.

No other details are known about the Injustice sequel. However, with the original’s wide array of DC Universe characters – from Batman and Deathstroke to Superman and Cyborg – it will be interesting to see what other characters will make their debut in the next game. Stay tuned for more news as we have it. [Via Furious Fanboys]
