Breaking: Michelle MacLaren Closes Deal To Direct WONDER WOMAN

A few weeks ago, it was reported that The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad director Michelle MacLaren was the frontrunner to helm the Wonder Woman movie for Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment. The news came off the heels of reports saying that the studio was seeking a female director for the project. And now, MacLaren is set to bring the world of Diana Prince to life in her long-overdue first movie.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, MacLaren is set to direct Wonder Woman and will develop the script with unnamed screenwriters. The film will star Gal Gadot, who will make her debut as the character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. She will then reprise the role in 2017’s Justice League Part One and 2019’s Justice League Part Two. The director of those movies, Zack Snyder, will produce Wonder Woman alongside wife Deborah Snyder and frequent WB/DC producer Charles Roven. The film is set to hit theaters June 23rd, 2017. What do you think of Michelle MacLaren directing Wonder Woman?
