The CW’s currently untitled The Flash–Arrow spin-off is set to team up a number of characters from both shows, including Atom, Martin Stein, Captain Cold and The Canary (?). Three more DC heroes will make their television debut here, while a “big” villain will be introduced. And now, we have word that another previously established character, one who surely knows how to bring the heat.
According to Deadline, The Flash‘s Dominic Purcell will reprise his role as villain Mick Rory/Heat Wave for the “superhero team-up.” So far, the pyromaniac has been seen teaming up with Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, who will also return for this spin-off, marking the beginnings of the fan-favorite Rogues team.
Deadline also reaffirms that The Flash‘s Robbie Amell, who plays Ronnie Raymond/half of Firestorm, has not signed on to the spin-off. Stay tuned for more news on this as we have it.
