In three weeks, Warner Bros. will be bringing a DC movie-fueled panel to San Diego Comic-Con. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad will be present, while Wonder Woman and Justice League are reportedly set to be featured as well. While the studio has yet to announce its presence at the Con, we now know at least one actor will be present.
Speaking with Collider, Jesse Eisenberg – who plays Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman – confirmed that he will be at that movie’s Comic-Con panel. “I’ll be there…I think I’m there for the hour I’m on the stage.” While unconfirmed, we can assume that director Zack Snyder and stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and/or Gal Gadot will also be at the Dawn of Justice panel, following their appearance last year.
Eisenberg went on to praise screenwriter Chris Terrio, when asked which DC movie he was excited for besides Batman v Superman. “I like what this writer does, this guy Chris Terrio. He wrote this movie we did and I just think he’s so great. He’s such a good writer. I like what he does with characters, I like what he does with wordplay and cleverness. I like anything he writes.”
Expect plenty of DC news to come in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned for more as we have it.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to hit theaters March 25th, 2016. The second installment in the DC Cinematic Universe stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot. Zack Snyder directs from a script by Chris Terrio and David S Goyer.
