DC Entertainment Unveils BATMAN V SUPERMAN Collectible Statues; New Still Featuring Superman
We’ve seen quite a bit of merchandise for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice recently, from Barbie dolls to Hot Wheels toys to LEGO sets. Today, DC Entertainment has revealed three statues inspired by the film, and they look terrific.
Via Yahoo!, DC will produce three collectible statues. There’s one of Superman, as well as two of Batman: one in his classic costume, and one in his mech suit that he wears in his fight with Superman. These three figures, sculpted by James Marsano, will be on display at Comic-Con this week and will go on sale to the general public in January. The 12-inch statues cost a hefty $150 a piece.
In other Batman v Superman news, we have yet another image from the film. In Entertainment Weekly’s bonus Comic-Con issue, a new still of Henry Cavill’s Superman is included. Attached is an interview excerpt from director Zack Snyder, who teases a conflict of philosophies between Superman and Batman.
