Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is finally hitting theaters next month, so we’re entering the home stretch of Warner Bros.’ marketing campaign. A new promo banner, seen above, has been released on the film’s social media pages, such as Facebook. It offers another look at Superman and Batman having a staring contest.
Meanwhile, it looks like we’re getting a fourth and (probably) final trailer very soon. Alberta Film Ratings has classified the new trailer, which runs at 2 minutes and 12 seconds; noticeably shorter than the last two trailers, both of which were over 3 minutes. With AFR classifying it, the trailer should be popping up in theaters sometime this week. We’ll likely get it online even sooner. So, stay tuned.
Finally, Good Morning America is holding a “giant” Batman v Superman event on Monday, February 15th at 7 AM EST. No other details are known for this event, which is already sold out. Will this have something to do with the next trailer? We’ll have to wait and see.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to hit theaters March 25th. The second installment in the DC Extended Universe stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot. Zack Snyder directs from a script by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer.
