Atom and Firestorm to Appear on VIXEN Season 2

Vixen will return for a second season on CW Seed later this summer, and there are big plans for Mari McCabe’s next adventures. Speaking with TV Guide (via Comic Book Resources), executive producer Marc Guggenheim explains that Mari will be exploring her world beyond Detroit. He says, “[Mari will be] expanding her sense of obligation beyond the borders of Detroit. There’s a much larger world out there that needs her protection.”

In the process of this journey, Mari will reunite with some old friends and meet some new ones. Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin will reprise their roles as Green Arrow and Flash, respectively. Meanwhile, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Atom (Brandon Routh) and Firestorm (Franz Drameh). And, as previously announced, Katie Cassidy will voice Laurel Lance/Black Canary. (This season of Vixen takes place before Laurel’s death on Arrow.)
