Yesterday, it was announced that Gotham had cast actor James Frain as villain Theo Galavan for season two. It was also revealed that casting was underway for Theo’s sister, Tabitha, aka Tigress. Now, the show has filled the antagonistic role.
According to TV Line, Gracepoint actress Jessica Lucas is set to play Tigress in this season of Gotham. The character is said to be “the lead enforcer for her brother Theo, a billionaire industrialist hell-bent on taking over Gotham. Described as sexy and violent — and toting a bullwhip! — she’s the opposite of her cold and calculating brother, deriving a sensual pleasure from the mayhem she’s tasked with making.”
The identity of Tigress was adopted by several characters in DC Comics lore, including Young Justice favorite Artemis Crock. However, ‘Tabitha Galavan’ looks to be an original character created for the show.
Stay tuned for more news as we have it. Gotham returns to Fox on September 21st.
