JUSTICE LEAGUE Adds Julian Lewis Jones in Unknown Role

Production on Justice League began a couple months ago, and it is expected to conclude later this year. Today, we have some more casting news for DC’s superhero ensemble.

Invictus and Stella alum Julian Lewis Jones tells Wales Online that he has landed a role in Justice League. And unsurprisingly, his character is currently unknown. Jones says, “I’m not allowed to say yet what part I play, but let’s just say I’ve a role in what will likely be the most expensive film ever made.” Most expensive film ever? We’ll see about that.

Jones then expresses his happiness in being involved with the film, as well as his desire to see it when it hits theaters next year.

So, who could Jones be playing in Justice League? We know that the film is still casting the role of Steppenwolf, the main villain. Darkseid and other characters from Apokolips are also possibilities. Or, perhaps, it’s none of the above. We’ll have to wait and see.

Justice League is scheduled to hit theaters November 17th, 2017. The fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amber Heard, Joe Morton, Willem Dafoe, Jeremy Irons, Jesse Eisenberg and J.K. Simmons. Zack Snyder directs from a script by Chris Terrio.
