Premiere Date for VIXEN Season 2 Announced

In addition to its four live action shows, The CW will continue to explore the animated side of the Arrowverse with CW Seed’s Vixen, which returns for a second season this fall. Now, the new season has a premiere date and release schedule.

According to TV Insider, Vixen returns on Thursday, October 13th on the CW Seed app. This is the same day that DC’s Legends of Tomorrow begins its second season on the main CW network. From there, Vixen will upload new episodes on Friday, allowing five days of CW DC content in a row on a weekly basis. Season two of Vixen will run for six episodes.

This season on Vixen, Mari McCabe continues to embrace her heroic destiny, and she will expand her actions beyond Detroit. She will face a new enemy who has his own magic totem. Additionally, Mari will reunite with Green Arrow and Flash, and she will meet a slew of new heroes: Atom, Firestorm and Black Canary.

So, we have a little over a week until Vixen‘s return. Who plans on checking out the new season?
