Talia al Ghul is Officially Coming to ARROW Later This Season
Arrow introduced the al Ghul family in season two, when Nyssa made her debut. Then, in season three, Ra’s al Ghul served as the main villain, while the League of Assassins was disbanded last year. With the show’s exploration of this corner of the DC Universe, it only makes sense to introduce Talia, the more popular daughter of Ra’s, sooner or later. Especially since we’ve already met her as a child in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
Now, we’re finally going to meet Talia as an adult. It has been announced (via Comic Book) that Stargate SG-1 actress Lexa Doig has been cast as Talia al Ghul on Arrow. She will first appear in episode 5×10, the midseason premiere, and she will recur throughout the rest of the season.
Talia is the daughter of Ra’s al Ghul and the half-sister of Nyssa. She is described as “…an elite warrior who doesn’t pick sides but rather creates her own.” Not counting her cameo on Legends, this will mark Talia’s second live action portrayal. She was played by Marion Cotillard in 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises.
