ABC Shifts AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. to Midseason and New Timeslot; INHUMANS Joins Fall Schedule
ABC has unveiled its schedule for its 2017-2018 television year, and it confirms some big shifts for its Marvel slate.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will not premiere its fifth season until midseason next year. Not only that, but it’s been given a new timeslot: Fridays at 9 PM EST. However, the season still has a 22-episode order.
Meanwhile, Inhumans will occupy the Fridays at 9 PM EST for the fall. It premieres on September 22nd, following the IMAX premiere of the first two episodes. That show will only run for eight episodes (for its first season, anyways), so S.H.I.E.L.D. will take its place for the second half of the season.
So yeah, fans who enjoy spending their Tuesday nights with the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will have to reschedule those plans for Fridays. Excited? Disappointed?
