WONDER WOMAN Runtime Confirmed

We’re now less than a month until the release of DC Films’ Wonder Woman, and the marketing campaign is full speed ahead. Following a slew of TV spots, magazine covers and more, a new “sneak peek” – likely the final trailer – premieres tonight at the MTV Movie Awards. While we wait for that, the film’s runtime has been confirmed.

According to the Consumer Protection BC classification, Wonder Woman‘s official runtime is a whopping 141 minutes, or 2 hours and 21 minutes.

Compared to past DCEU entries, this is longer than Suicide Squad‘s 123 minute runtime (136 for the Extended Cut). However, it’s a tad shorter than Man of Steel‘s 143 minute runtime, while Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is still the longest DCEU film at 151 minutes (181 for the Ultimate Edition).

For Wonder Woman, a 141-minute runtime is plenty of time to fully develop Diana and her supporting cast, as well as the overall story.

Stay tuned for more as we have it.

Wonder Woman is scheduled to hit theaters June 2nd. The fourth installment in the DC Extended Universe stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis, Lisa Loven Kongsli and Connie Nielsen. Patty Jenkins directs from a script by Geoff Johns and Allan Heinberg.
