Marvel Studios will begin production on its latest sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp, later this summer. Director Peyton Reed returns for the follow-up, along with stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Michael Peña. Rudd co-wrote the script with Gabriel Ferrari. Now, casting has begun on the sequel’s new characters.
According to Variety, Black Mirror actress Hannah John-Kamen has joined the cast of Ant-Man and the Wasp. Her character is currently unknown, but it’s said to be a “key” role. As usual, several actresses were up for the role before Marvel decided on John-Kamen.
Ant-Man and the Wasp marks John-Kamen’s latest blockbuster role. She will appear in Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One and Warner Bros.’ Tomb Raider reboot, both of which also drop next year.
Stay tuned for more news as we have it. Ant-Man and the Wasp is scheduled to hit theaters on July 6th, 2018.
