Marvel TV News Bits: LEGION Returning to Comic-Con, DAREDEVIL Character in THE PUNISHER, INHUMANS Premiere Date
Following its universally loved first season, FX’s Legion will return for a second season next year. Production is now underway. In the mean time, the series is returning to San Diego Comic-Con next month.
FX has confirmed (via Deadline) that Legion will be part of its SDCC panel. The panel takes place on Thursday, July 20th in Ballroom 20. Showrunner Noah Hawley, star Dan Stevens, Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb, and other cast members are expected to appear.
Expect more updates to come as we draw closer to SDCC.
Netflix’s The Punisher spin-off will feature Daredevil star Deborah Ann Woll, who plays Karen Page. But now, we have word of another character from that series popping up.
MCUExchange has learned that Karen’s boss, Mitchell Ellison (played by Geoffrey Cantor) will appear on The Punisher. IMDb claims that he is in episodes 2 and 9 of the series. On Daredevil, Ellison is the editor-in-chief of the New York Bulletin. He was originally the boss of Ben Urich, and in season two, he played a key role in Karen’s decision to pursue investigative journalism. What role does he play in The Punisher? We’ll just have to wait and see.
The Punisher premieres on Netflix later this year.
