WONDER WOMAN Box Office Updates, Weekend #4

This past weekend, DC Films’ Wonder Woman continued to hold very well at the domestic box office, despite the arrival of Transformers: The Last Knight.

Per Box Office Mojo, he critically acclaimed superhero movie maintained the #2 spot with $24.9 million, behind Transformers‘ $44.7 million ($68.5 million over five days). Wonder Woman makes slightly more than last week’s winner, Cars 3, which grossed $24.1 million.

To date, Wonder Woman has grossed $318.1 million domestically and $335.8 million overseas. This brings its worldwide total to $653.9 million. The movie has now surpassed Man of Steel at the domestic box office, and it should fly by the other DCEU films, Suicide Squad and Batman v Superman, very soon. Wonder Woman should also pass Man of Steel‘s worldwide total any day now, and by the time its run is over, it could even go beyond Suicide Squad‘s.
