WONDER WOMAN Becomes the Highest Grossing DCEU Film Domestically

DC Films’ Wonder Woman is one of the biggest winners of the summer so far, receiving raving reviews from both critics and audiences. It has also maintained exceptionally strong legs at the box office, proving that the general audience really loves this movie. Now, the film has set a new record for the franchise.

This week, Wonder Woman became the highest grossing installment of the DC Extended Universe at the domestic box office. As of yesterday, the film grossed $330.5 million in North America, narrowly passing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice‘s $330.4 million. Meanwhile, Suicide Squad grossed $325.1 million, while Man of Steel made $291 million.

Overseas, Wonder Woman has grossed about $335.8 million, bringing its worldwide total to $666.3 million. It should surpass Man of Steel ($668 million) this weekend, and by the end of its theatrical run, it should wind up somewhere in the $700 million range.
