STAR WARS EPISODE IX to Feature Unused THE LAST JEDI Footage
It was recently announced that J.J. Abrams will work with unused footage from Star Wars: The Force Awakens to bring back the late Carrie Fisher’s General Leia. Now, a new report reveals that he’ll also be looking to Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi for even more to work with.
According to Star Wars News Net, Abrams will incorporate deleted scenes from the previous two films. ABC’s Clayton Sandell shared information that he received from Todd Fisher (Carrie’s brother). Here’s what was said: He (Todd Fisher) said there were big surprises coming – big surprises with this movie, this performance, and the unused footage – and said – this one is really for the fans, Said Sandell. But they apparently have a number of unused minutes from both The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. Sandell then added: Todd and the whole family are very excited and wanted it to happen.
