ARROW and LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Add New Recurring Characters
This week, we have a couple casting updates from the Arrowverse. First up, according to Variety, GLOW and Black Panther actress Sydelle Noel has landed a recurring role in Arrow‘s sixth season. She will play Samantha Watson, who is “…an FBI agent who will be investigating Oliver Queen’s connection to the Green Arrow.” Producers call Watson an intelligent woman with a no-nonsense attitude, and she won’t stop until the Green Arrow is exposed.
No word on which episode Watson will first appear in, but the season has been filming for about a month now. Stay tuned for more updates we have them. Arrow returns to The CW on Thursday, October 12th at 9 PM EST.
Next, we have a new character for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. According to Deadline, Mistresses‘ Jes Macallan has been cast as Special Agent Ava Sharpe, a member of Rip Hunter’s newly established Time Bureau. Sharpe is described as “…very smart and incredibly ambitious and always believes she is the smartest person in the room. She is often quite ruthless in obtaining her goals and her drive for perfection has left many discarded friendships (and relationships) in her wake.”
The Time Bureau is dedicated to regulating time travel and protecting history. The group will butt heads with the Legends, who are dealing with the time-breaking ramifications of last year’s finale. According to IMDb, Macallan is currently set to appear in three episodes, but expect that number to go up as the season progresses.
Legends of Tomorrow returns on Tuesday, October 10th at 9 PM EST on The CW.
