Marvel TV Bringing Four Shows to New York Comic-Con 2017
We’re one month away from this year’s New York Comic-Con, and companies are now announcing their plans for the convention. Among them is Marvel Television, who’s presenting a whopping four shows.
First up, Hulu’s Runaways will hold its panel on Friday, October 6th from 7:45-9:15 PM. Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb and executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage join the show’s cast on Main Stage 1-D. The panel will consist of exclusive footage from the original series, which premieres on November 21st.
Next, both ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Netflix’s The Punisher will have their panels on Saturday, October 7th in the Madison Square Garden. S.H.I.E.L.D. will run from 2:00-3:15 PM, with the cast participating in a Q&A and presenting new footage. The series will return for its fifth season premiere later this year.
Meanwhile, Punisher runs from 5:15-6:15 PM, and will feature star Jon Bernthal, showrunner Steve Lightfoot, and executive producer Jim Chory in a Q&A. Jeph Loeb is attending both panels. The show premieres sometime this year.
And finally, Fox is showing off its new X-Men inspired series, The Gifted. This panel takes place on Sunday, October 8th at the Main Stage from 2:45-3:45 PM.
