DC Reportedly Adapting BATMAN: THE LONG HALLOWEEN As a Two-Part Animated Movie
DC Entertainment has looked to Batman stories when it comes to much of its animated movie slate. Now, it appears that the company is tackling one of the Dark Knight’s most iconic tales for its next animated event.
Our friend Mario at Revenge of the Fans has learned that an animated adaptation of Batman: The Long Halloween is in the works. This will be told in two parts, similar to Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and The Death of Superman/Reign of the Supermen. Also, this is unlikely to be set in the shared DC Animated Movie Universe (DCAMU). This contrasts the Batman: Hush movie, which looks to be bringing back multiple voice actors from other movies.
The Long Halloween‘s voice cast will consist of Troy Baker, Jensen Ackles, Naya Rivera, Titus Welliver, and David Dastmalchian. Baker has voiced both Batman and Joker in his career, so he could reprise one of those roles here. Everyone else is up for speculation.
A release date and other details are currently under wraps. But, stay tuned for more as we have it.
